WHAT WE OFFER

We do not offer returns or cash refunds under any circumstances. We offer exchanges only in specific situations as outlined below. By placing an order on our website, you agree to this policy.

WHEN AN EXCHANGE IS ACCEPTED

We accept exchange requests only in the following cases:

  1. You received a manufacturing defect — meaning a significant structural damage to the fabric or product that was present at the time of dispatch and is not a characteristic of handcrafted or handwoven items.

  2. You received the wrong item — meaning the product delivered does not match what you ordered in terms of design, colour or product type.

We do not accept exchanges for change of mind, colour variation due to screen display differences, minor irregularities that are natural characteristics of handcrafted or handwoven products, or any reason not listed above.

IMPORTANT — UNBOXING VIDEO REQUIREMENT

An unboxing video is mandatory for all exchange requests without exception. The video must:

  • Begin before the parcel is opened, clearly showing the sealed outer packaging and courier label

  • Capture the entire unboxing process in a single continuous shot without any cuts, pauses or edits

  • Clearly show the item being removed from the packaging and the defect or incorrect product

Exchange requests submitted without a valid unboxing video will be rejected outright, regardless of the reason. No exceptions will be made. This requirement exists to protect both you and us and to confirm that any damage or discrepancy occurred prior to delivery.

SALE ITEMS

Items purchased during a sale or at a discounted price are eligible for exchange only if you received a manufacturing defect or the wrong item, and only if a valid unboxing video is provided. Sale items are not eligible for exchange for any other reason.

HOW TO RAISE AN EXCHANGE REQUEST

Exchange requests must be raised within 3 days of delivery. Requests raised after 3 days will not be accepted under any circumstances.

To raise a request, contact us within 3 days of receiving your order:

Your message must include:

  • Your order number

  • Your full name and delivery address

  • The reason for the exchange request

  • A valid unboxing video as described above

  • Clear photographs of the defect or incorrect item along with the original packaging

Requests submitted without an unboxing video, photographs or order details will not be processed. Raising an exchange request does not guarantee approval. All requests are subject to review and verification.

CONDITIONS FOR EXCHANGE

Once your exchange request is approved, the following conditions apply:

The item must be unused, unwashed, unaltered and in its original condition. It must be returned with all original tags intact and in its original packaging. Items that have been used, washed, altered or damaged after delivery will not be accepted for exchange and will be returned to you at your cost.

SHIPPING FOR EXCHANGES

You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us. We recommend using a reputable courier service with tracking and insurance. Sakhi is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. If the returned item does not reach us or arrives in a condition different from what was reported, the exchange will not be processed.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item and confirm it meets the conditions above, we will ship the replacement to you at no additional cost. If the item does not meet the conditions upon inspection, it will be returned to you and the exchange will be declined.

IF THE REPLACEMENT IS NOT AVAILABLE

In the event that the replacement item is out of stock or unavailable, we will issue you a store credit in the form of a coupon code. The coupon code will be:

  • Valid for 90 days from the date of issue

  • Applicable on all full-price products on our website

  • Not applicable on sale or discounted items

  • Not transferable or exchangeable for cash

If your coupon code expires before use, it cannot be reissued or extended.

ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR EXCHANGE

The following are not eligible for exchange under any circumstances:

  • Items where the exchange request is raised after 3 days of delivery

  • Items where a valid unboxing video is not provided

  • Items that have been used, washed or altered

  • Items returned without original tags or packaging

  • Items with damage caused after delivery

  • Colour variations due to screen display differences

  • Minor irregularities that are natural characteristics of handcrafted or handwoven products

  • Items damaged during return transit due to improper packaging by the customer

REFUNDS

We do not offer cash refunds. The only exception is if we are unable to fulfil an exchange and the replacement item is also unavailable, in which case store credit will be issued as described above. No monetary refund will be made under any circumstance.
